MoveConnected Terms of Use

Version 2026-09-TOU-v2 · Effective September 15, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MoveConnected ("MoveConnected," "we," "us"). MoveConnected is currently a sole proprietorship operated by Blake Faulkenberry in Texas. If that changes — for example, if MoveConnected forms an LLC — we will update these Terms to name the new legal entity. The Terms cover moveconnected.com and everything you do through it (the "Service").

You agree to these Terms when you tick the box that says so — when you create an account, buy a report, or subscribe — and by using the Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The short version

This summary is here to help. The full Terms below are what govern.

  • MoveConnected is an information tool. We are not your home inspector, contractor, engineer, real estate agent, lawyer, or financial adviser.
  • The repair list is written by AI from the report you upload. It can miss things or get them wrong. Always check it against your full inspection report.
  • Contractor listings come from Google's public business data. We do not check licenses, insurance, or work quality, and we do not endorse anyone listed. You hire contractors directly.
  • Refunds and renewals. These are digital products delivered immediately. If the analysis is wrong or unusable, email support@moveconnected.com within 14 days and we will refund it in full. Realtor Pro renews automatically until you cancel.
  • Texas law and Texas courts apply, except where the law where you live gives you protections these Terms cannot take away.

1. Who can use MoveConnected

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is built for property in the United States. If you use the Service for a business — for example, as a real estate agent — you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for that business, and "you" includes the business.

2. What MoveConnected is, and what it is not

MoveConnected helps you make sense of a home inspection report and find local service businesses. It offers:

  • a summary, written by AI, of the repair items in an inspection report you upload — with priorities, suggested timing, and directional cost ranges on paid tiers;
  • listings of nearby contractors, drawn from Google's public business data; and
  • free guides, a repair cost estimator, and a moving checklist.

MoveConnected is not a home inspector, engineer, architect, contractor, real estate broker or agent, insurer, lender, lawyer, or financial adviser, and nothing on the Service is advice from any of those professions. We do not inspect property, perform or arrange repairs, hold money for any job, or take a fee from any contractor. We are not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor, seller, buyer, agent, or anyone else.

3. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service.

We may also update these Terms. Every version carries a version number and effective date at the top, and if you want a copy of the version you agreed to, ask us. If we make a material change, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email to the address on your account, or by a notice on the Service — and the change will apply 30 days after that notice, or sooner if you accept it. A change never applies to a dispute that arose before it. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the Service and delete your account (see section 15).

4. Your account

Give us accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and do not let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away at support@moveconnected.com.

5. Your inspection report and other content

"Your Content" means what you give us: most importantly the inspection report or other document you upload, and also property addresses you enter, support messages, and feedback.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You give MoveConnected only the limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission it needs to process, store, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to extract repair items from a report you upload and show you the result. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anything the law requires us to keep. We do not publish, market, sell, license, or share Your Content with anyone else, other than the service providers that make the Service work (see section 13 and our Privacy Policy). We may use information that is de-identified and aggregated — so it does not identify you or any property — to measure and improve the Service.

You must have the right to upload it. By uploading a document you confirm that you are allowed to share it with us for this purpose — for example, the report is about your own purchase, or the person it belongs to (such as your client) has agreed. Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.

How we handle an uploaded report. We read the file in memory and extract its text; the file itself is never saved to our servers. The text is sent to our AI provider to identify repair items. The results are kept for about 30 minutes unless you save them to your account, and you can delete saved reports at any time. Because we do not keep your file, keep your own copy. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

6. AI analysis

MoveConnected uses automated systems, including a third-party artificial intelligence service, to read documents you upload and extract information from them. The result is a machine-generated summary. It is not an inspection, evaluation, engineering assessment, repair estimate, or professional advice of any kind, and no licensed professional reviews it before you see it.

The summary may leave out items that are in your document, include items that are not, or describe items inaccurately. Priorities, suggested timing, and cost ranges are general guidance, not a judgment about your property and not a quote. We analyze a limited amount of text from each document — currently about the first 180,000 characters of text we can extract — so in a very long report, items after that point are not included, and the results screen tells you when that has happened.

You are responsible for checking every item against your original report, and for consulting your inspector or other licensed professionals before you negotiate, budget, hire anyone, or make any other decision about a property. We make no promise that any AI-generated output is accurate or complete.

7. Contractor listings

How the listings are built. For each service category you choose, we show businesses that Google lists in that category within 50 miles of the property address you gave us, keep only those rated 4.5 stars or higher on Google, order them by distance, and show up to six per category. The listings are fetched from Google when you view them, so a business's details, ratings, or availability can change or be out of date.

What we do not do. We do not verify licenses, certifications, insurance, bonding, business registration, or work quality. We do not inspect these businesses, interview them, contact them, or check references. We have no business relationship with any contractor listed, we are not paid by them, and being listed is not an endorsement or guarantee by MoveConnected. Ratings and review counts come from Google and reflect the opinions of Google's users, not ours.

What you should do. Before hiring anyone, check their license with the appropriate state or local authority, ask for and independently confirm a current certificate of insurance, get written estimates from more than one contractor, check references, and never pay a large deposit up front.

You deal with contractors directly. Any agreement is between you and the contractor. MoveConnected is not a party to it and has no control over, and is not responsible for, a contractor's conduct, work, pricing, licensing, insurance, availability, or any dispute between you.

8. Guides, estimates, and other information

Our guides, repair cost estimator, and moving checklist are general information. Cost figures are rough national planning ranges, not quotes, and actual costs depend on your region and your property. Laws, codes, and real estate practices vary by location. Check anything that matters with the appropriate professional.

9. Prices, payment, and refunds

What is free. For any report: the property address, how many repair items we found and in which categories, and the first 3 highest-priority items in full. The contractor listings and the moving checklist are always free.

One-time purchases. Each purchase unlocks one report at the level you choose, with a single payment and nothing recurring:

  • Inspection Analysis, $9.99. Every repair item we found in your report.
  • Home Action Plan, $19.99. The full list, prioritized and explained.
  • Complete Move Plan, $29.99. Your plan, saved and organized for the whole move.

Prices. The price is shown before you pay. We may change our prices, but a change never affects something you have already bought. Prices do not include taxes unless we say so; if we are required to collect sales tax, it will be shown before you pay.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page, and Stripe's terms apply to that payment. We never see or store your card number.

Refunds. These are digital products delivered immediately. If the analysis is wrong or unusable, email support@moveconnected.com within 14 days and we will refund it in full. We handle refund requests consistently and in good faith, and nothing in these Terms limits a refund right you have under the law. If something went wrong with a purchase, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank — we would rather fix it.

10. Realtor Pro subscription

Realtor Pro is a subscription for real estate professionals:

  • Realtor Pro, monthly, $49 per month.
  • Realtor Pro, annual, $490 per year. Two months free compared with paying monthly.

What it includes. Analyses at the Complete Move Plan level on every report you run while your subscription is active, subject to reasonable limits that protect the Service (such as a limit on uploads per hour). You may share printed or exported plans with your own clients.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in effect, and is charged to your payment method on file, until you cancel. Before you subscribe we show the price, the billing period, and how to cancel.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from My Account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your access continues until then. We do not refund or pro-rate partial periods, except where the law requires it or section 15 says so. If you switch between monthly and annual billing, Stripe's billing page shows any charge or credit for the switch before you confirm it.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first if you choose.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it. Your access may continue for a short time while it does, and then pauses until payment succeeds. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled.

Deleting your account cancels your subscription.

11. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, do not:

  • break any law, or use the Service to help anyone else do so;
  • upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or otherwise unlawful;
  • pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection to any person or business;
  • access another person's account or data;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or use bots or other automated means to access the Service, other than an ordinary web browser;
  • get around the paywall, rate limits, security, or any other restriction on the Service;
  • overload, disrupt, or attack the Service, or try to reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
  • resell or redistribute analyses or contractor listings as a product or data set, or use them to build a competing service — except that Realtor Pro subscribers may share plans with their own clients; or
  • use the support, feedback, or email features to send spam or to harass anyone.

12. MoveConnected's content

The Service — its software, design, text, guides, and the MoveConnected name and logo — belongs to MoveConnected or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, revocable permission to use the Service as these Terms allow; for Realtor Pro subscribers, that includes use in your real estate business. Please do not use our name or logo without our permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on other companies' services, and their own terms apply to them:

The Service links to contractors' websites, Google Maps, and other sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. It is part of these Terms.

15. Ending your use of the Service

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from My Account; that permanently removes your account and saved reports, cancels any subscription, and cannot be undone.

We may suspend or close your account, or stop providing the Service to you, if you break these Terms, if we reasonably need to in order to protect the Service, other users, or ourselves, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. We may also discontinue the Service or any part of it. If we discontinue something you have already paid for and not received, or close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of what you paid, including the remaining part of a prepaid subscription period.

Sections 5 (for content already processed), 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 16 through 20 continue to apply after your use of the Service ends.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOVECONNECTED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, CONTRACTOR LISTINGS, COST RANGES, OR OTHER INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act or any other consumer protection law that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • MOVECONNECTED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, THE COST OF REPAIRS, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM DECISIONS ABOUT A PROPERTY OR FROM ANY CONTRACTOR'S ACTS OR OMISSIONS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE; AND
  • MOVECONNECTED'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID MOVECONNECTED IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or to any liability that the law does not allow to be limited — including under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act or the consumer protection laws of the state where you live.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover MoveConnected's reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from a claim by someone else that results from your breach of these Terms, from Your Content (for example, uploading a document you did not have the right to share), or from your misuse of the Service. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by MoveConnected's own fault.

19. Disputes

Talk to us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly. Before starting any legal claim, email support@moveconnected.com with your name, the email address on your account, a description of the problem, and what you would like us to do. We will try in good faith to resolve it. Neither of us will start a court case until 30 days after that notice, except in small claims court or to ask a court for urgent relief to stop misuse of the Service or of intellectual property.

Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in a small claims court (in Texas, a justice court) that has jurisdiction, including one where you live.

Courts. Otherwise, any dispute relating to the Service or these Terms will be decided by the state courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, and you and MoveConnected consent to those courts' jurisdiction. If the law where you live gives you the right to bring or defend a claim in your local courts, this paragraph does not take that right away. These Terms do not require arbitration.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside Texas, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer protection laws of the state where you live.

20. General terms

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any terms shown to you at checkout are the whole agreement between you and MoveConnected about the Service.
  • Electronic agreement and notices. You agree that accepting these Terms electronically is as binding as signing them on paper, and that we may send you notices by email to the address on your account or by posting them on the Service.
  • If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part will be enforced to the greatest extent the law allows.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms at some point, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer these Terms to someone else. We may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, and these Terms will continue to protect you.
  • Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our service providers.
